Preventive dental care is the key to ensuring that you have healthy teeth and gums for your entire life.  We believe in making you, the patient, a participant in your dental care decisions by educating you in a way you can easily understand.

Preventive dentistry must start with a very thorough evaluation of your medical history and examination of your teeth and gums.  There are times when we find conditions in the oral cavity that alert us about something more serious that may be going on with your health.

Your initial comprehensive evaluation will include appropriate radiographs, photographs, oral cancer screening, recordings of the periodontal (gum) status around each tooth, masticatory and joint assessment and a detailed inspection of each individual tooth.  Even though this is the best way to get to know you and your dental needs, we also offer focused oral examinations and emergency care appointments if you have a specific urgent need.

We see patients of all ages, as early as 6 months of age, elementary school children through adolescents, adults and grandparents, as well, in our family practice.
