We perform oral cancer screening on all new patients and periodically at recall appointments.
We utilize an Oral ID light in addition to our
visual examination. Oral ID uses fluorescent technology, helps us identify cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions at their early stages. Early detection is crucial to a favorable long term survival rate in patients with oral cancer.
